Enter a class at the top of this page and then watch the results appear.
Do not take it too serious as you can have your results reversed because the Snob does not look at the number of languages you have studied.
If you study more than one language, you can enter the language with the highest points.
You will need at least 200 Points on a pass.
Once you have entered a class you can look at the facts and find out how you did (once again this does not mean that you have a seat!)
Below we give some details on what the Snob is looking for for each entry:
A – Mathematics – This includes Maths, Trig, and the like.
B – Science – This includes Science, Chemistry, and Physiology
C – Geography, History, Geology and other relevant topics.
D – Art – This includes Art, Painting, etc.

F – Physical Education – This includes Sports Studies, Gymnastics, etc.
G – Creative Arts – This includes Drama, Dance, Artistic Design, etc.

All classes are worth 10 points. There is no need to pay for classes though they are an essential part of our teaching.

Snob

Snob is a “noun classifier” – or in other words a classifier which attempts to give rules for classifying high school nouns to a hierarchy. It is based on three important facts of highschool nouns:
1. a highschool noun is derived from a person – this is confirmed by the fact that, of all the nouns which follow this rule (such as verbs and adjectives), the nouns which follow this rule are exactly the ones which are derived from a person.
2. highschool nouns are extremely unvaried in their form – there is rarely any variation at all and almost always one rule which is applied – usually “person -> person -> person”.
3. The application of the first two rules means that a highschool noun has to contain three major parts: the person (a person), a generic (no particular meaning in itself) noun, and finally an adjective (a word which explains the generic noun). This is consistent with both the rules. “The man with the bag” is an example of a noun which is derived from a person, a generic noun and an adjective.
A name is a person; an adjective is an adjective; a generic noun is a generic noun and a noun which follows the first rule is called a derivative noun. The distribution of the nouns in the dictionary is shown below:

The above confirms that the most common way of deriving a noun is first to use a person’s name, then a generic noun and finally an adjective to form the noun. Since the word “the” is a good example of the second rule this means that the commonest way to derive a noun from the name of a person is by adding “the” and then a generic noun and finally an adjective to form the noun. But here is where the system of classifiers takes over – below are the criteria which I used to classify the nouns in the dictionary:
C1.1: The predominant way of deriving a noun from a person’s name is by adding “the” and a generic noun followed by an adjective to form the noun.
C2.1: A noun derived in this way takes no noun modifier (such as “a big house”, “a new car”, “a new school”, “a new toy”, etc.)
C2.2: A noun which does take a noun modifier is not affected by the adjectives “very”, “really” etc.
C3.1: A noun derived in

This game consists of an intro letter, and then 8 class letters and an (optional) end letter. Once the game has started, you are expected to complete each letter within its time limit, with no more than 3 attempts. Every missed letter is recorded, and if you get 3 mistakes, the game is over and you are out of the class.

This a little program that I have created for doing a report. One problem that you might have is that the commandline printer(print report.txt) that I have put in doesn’t seem to be working (it makes no sound, it doesn’t do anything) but it does sometimes print off the text. I’ve had a look but can’t find it to fix the problem. The commandline should be able to print it to the console.
