Can I remove the “to build or buy” tags from a list of questions?

I just saw a list of questions that were tagged to build or to buy.
Can I remove those tags from the questions in that list?

A:

From a moderator’s perspective, unless you have actual questions (or need followup questions) in the question, the tags are redundant.
If you have a question that needs followup, you can edit the question to add [rebuild] [retro] to make that clear. If you have some followup of your own, you can start a new question asking those questions.
Otherwise, it’s a waste of our time to go though the list, remove the tags, and then edit the questions back in.

Q:

Are there any downsides to biasing nearby optocouplers?

I’m using optocouplers to switch voltage at an arbitrary voltage level.
Because I’m using a 1.8V-3.6V ADC, I normally need to bias the output of the optocoupler to about 2.5V.
As some optocouplers have an impedance of up to 50\\$\Omega\\$, I suspect the inductive kickback to ground when switching will cause some reflection and echo and thus poor SNR.
If I put a resistor of a few 100\\$\Omega\\$ in parallel with the optocoupler and bias the input to 2.5V instead, would it make any difference?

A:

Rather than ignore the echo effect, you should just add noise immunity to your opto bias circuit.

R1 is there to load the gate, and reduce the switching noise. You’d need to measure the resistance and make a calculation depending on your circuit, but for a few hundred ohms you can just use a few k\\$\Omega\\$ resistor in the path between 3v and ground.
R2 is there because the gate input will be close to ground, and that reduces circuit noise, but if you’re driving a power-hungry circuit and using a linear resistor, you might want to use
