Elden Ring PC/Windows
The gameplay is very simple. A basic strategy RPG experience. The graphics are bland, but like most other RPGs, the environments are really nice.
Basically you get 6 directions in 3 dimensions where you can walk. Some enemies attack you, and you can jump to reach higher locations like mountains. There are also some doors you can open to enter other places where you can fight more dangerous enemies.
You can combine your equipment or upgrade them, and you can learn magic to use it.
Combat is really simple. You just press one of the direction keys to attack, and there are cooldown periods on the attack. Enemies can attack back, and they deal damage based on the amount of experience and strength you gain. You can also attack with range, and they deal damage to the area around them. You can also start a combo with press a special key and perform an execution magic attack that deals more damage and consumes more stamina.
The UI isn’t great. There are a ton of little icons for buffs and status. It’s just a mess and requires a lot of fiddling.
If you are looking for a simple RPG experience, The Tarnished Prince is well worth picking up.
REVIEWS ELDEN RING game:
There is no strategy RPG here. If there were, it would be a travesty.
The combat is the only part that offers any sort of strategy at all. You have to guess which weapons to equip, and their stats are so miniscule that choosing well is pointless. The real strategy lies in which stat should be upgraded first.
The graphics look nice in burst mode, but then some of the towns are really ugly.
The UI is confusing. You have a lot of icon overlays and no helpful tooltips.
If you are looking for a simple action RPG experience, Tarnished Prince is well worth picking up.

I didn’t get any photos of multiplayer last time around, so I won’t do that this time. I played the campaign pretty much through from start to end. I never played a single multiplayer game in the original Halo. I felt in love with Halo when I was about nine years old. So it’s fairly likely that Halo 4 will be the only game I’ll have played in roughly that time frame. As I played the campaign, though, I didn’t really feel like I was playing the campaign from Halo 3. Rather I was watching a brand-new story being scripted, with absolutely no reference to Halo 3.
